Hola again!

It has been a while, I know. For some unknown reason that only my subconscious knows best, I was under the mistaken impression that this blog was not important, or at least high on my priority list to tend to regularly. I completely lost sight of the reason I started off in the first place. I pen down my thoughts here so that I can revisit them in due time. So that I whenever I am low, I can calibrate how far I have come.

With all due respect to my non-existent readers, this space is my way of speaking with myself. Let’s call this my not-so-personal diary, if you will!

So here I am, and I have come a long way since I was here last. I am now a director of a company called 9Hills Private Limited and owner of a cheese brand called Wheelers’! *round of applause* .

Well, Wheelers’ is an artisanal handcrafted cheese brand based out of Pune, and we have not sold anything—–yet. But we plan to. Also glad (and relieved ) to announce the official joining of my partner, in business, parenting and life in general, Masoom Shah, without whose constant support, direction and incessant nudging, I would have achieved meagerly little*round of applause*.

No really, no sarcasm. Amidst Gautam’s PJs getting shorter and tantrums getting larger, I was having a difficult time churning out a couple of batches of cheese a week. And that just wasn’t enough. This is leaving aside the bandwidth I would require for looking for a place, shifting and expanding the cheesemaking setup, kicking off social media and developing content, figuring out milk sourcing, hiring and training staff, deciding packaging and labelling, and marketing-in no particular order. So happy to have Masoom on board! FYI, he does a better job at making burratas than I do.

As of today, I just wanted to put out there that I am in a good place. Things are moving. They’re moving slow, but they are moving and I’m getting a good vibe about this!

Next update soon.

Promise.
